Man charged with sexual assault, battery, assault after incident in downtown Portland
A man has been charged with attempted sexual assault and battery after an altercation outside of a downtown Portland nightclub last month, police said.
The man was arrested Saturday morning, said Lt.
Mike Ernster of the Portland Police Bureau.
Police said the man was the owner of the venue.
“At approximately 2:00 a.m. on April 30, 2017, Portland Police received a report of a male, later identified as 25-year-old Christopher Pang of Portland, in the 4500 block of Southwest 14th Avenue,” police said in a statement.
“The male stated that he was the sole proprietor of the club, and that he had an altercation with an unknown individual.
Police said Pang was released on his own recognizance. “
Pang is facing a charge of attempted sexual penetration and battery.”

“Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident,” police wrote in a news release.
Pang’s attorney could not be reached for comment.
